After two weeks of suffering working with my brother's backup netbook, which is both demonic slow and vengeful temperamental, I now have my very own computer back! It's in better shape than when I sent it in too, since they replaced some cracked casing ( Read more... )

Last night, my computer died. 2.5 years with no problems and then suddenly the screen is black and the sound cuts out and hitting the power button does nothing. I took it to the tech people this morning and they had to send it out for repairs. They also said that this sort of problem usually results in a complete loss of data.
